Our assessment includes a thorough investigation into the history and nutrition of your skin along with taking photos and performing skin scans. High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) is a cosmetic treatment for skin tightening that is considered a noninvasive and painless replacement for face lifts. Melanin is what is responsible for hyperpigmentation. What is melanin and where is it produced? Here are the facts; - Melanin is the pigment that gives skin its colour. - Melanocytes are the cells responsible for melanin production; they are found in the basal layer of the epidermis. - Melanocytes produce granules called melanosomes that, when filled with melanin, are transferred to the nearby keratinocytes. - The melanosomes migrate to the most superficial layer of the skin loaded with pigment; this brings the melanin to the more superficial layers of the skin, making the dark spot visible. Triggers that can stimulate this process are; Sun Exposure Hormonal medications Hormonal changes Aging Exposure to chemicals Inflammatory processes While exfoliating the epidermis can lighten hyperpigmentation on the surface of the skin there is something much greater still happening underneath that means that the pigment will return. A pen-like device that discharged a high frequency electric current to small areas of the skin. The hot current creates micro injuries to the skin to instantly contract and tighten the skin. 

This treatment produces a superior peeling that is totally safe and effective and is therefore suitable for skins of all ages and color. An abundance of collagen production is created from this treatment along with removal of pigmentation and sun-damage making it the ultimate anti aging treatment. Rejuvenation and dramatic improvement in the color, texture and elasticity of the skin is achieved.

The peel is applied to the face, neck and eyelids. The special characteristic of this exfoliation technique is that no destruction of the living cells is involved. Only dead cell layers are detached from the skin which remains absolutely intact. Resorcinol is a main ingredient of this peel and one of the very few substances which have this property. Many other peels in high concentration can destroy the cells in the deeper layers of the epidermis which can damage the delicate skin tissues.

There is no limit to the number of peels that a skin can tolerate as each peel stimulates re growth. For a beautiful, elastic and young looking skin, this treatment is recommended every one to two years for skins between the ages of 21 to 30 and once a year thereafter.
